Meet The Team

We believe that apart from our clients, our most valuable asset is our staff. Without the dedication and effort that our team put in, we simply would not have a business. By actively encouraging our team and offering excellent opportunities for training, development and reward, we have not only skilled members, but loyal ones.

Meet the Tech4 Ltd Team

As Managers, we never expect our staff to do anything that we would not be prepared to do ourselves, we actively encourage everyone to work as team which not only maximises the skill base that we have available, but also assists with the ongoing development of each and every member.

Richard Spedding

After leaving School, Richard completed a BTEQ in Electrical Engineering, before moving on to complete an HND in Micro Electronics and Applied Computing. He then started work for local IT company Blue Chip, where within a year of employment he was appointed as Workshop Manager.

His career progressed within Blue Chip and he became a Field Engineer working mainly in the London area for contracted Clients.

Richard left Blue Chip in 2001 to set up Tech4 Limited (previously known as Spinnaker Computer Solutions), where his focus on customer service and technical excellence has made the business the success that it is today.

Justin Moors

After graduating with a BSc in Computer Sciences, Justin worked for engineering software company CADS Ltd, originally as an IT Support Technician. During his time at CADS, he worked towards gaining the revered MCSE vocational qualification and after a little over a year was offered the position of IT Manager within the firm.

The IT Manager’s position put him in control of the global network, covering the UK, India and North America. He was also responsible for the installation and configuration of the India Office network and thereafter managed a team of support operatives.

Since leaving CADS in 2001, Justin has worked with a number of larger companies in roles integrating consultancy and network engineering, ultimately assisting with the development of national networks, workflow management and CTI convergence systems.

In April 2008, Justin joined Tech4 as their Operations Director, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and experience to the company, along with strong project management skills.

David Bartlett

David began his IT career before even leaving School, working in the workshop at Blue Chip on Saturdays. After two years, Blue Chip offered him a full-time position during which time he continued to hone his skills.

After much study, David was offered a position within the busy IT support department of Fitness First in Poole, a challenging role that gave him a firm understanding of how an established support system integrates within a company. Working both on telephone support as well as maintaining the company’s vast array of servers and desktop workstations, David gained valuable experience in all areas of Microsoft networking.

In 2005, following another successful year, Richard Spedding approached David with the opportunity of joining the company as a Field Engineer, a position that David was very keen to take.

Since joining Tech4, David has become a particularly valuable asset to the company and is praised highly by every client that comes into contact with him. He possesses a rare passion for his career and a tenacious attitude towards problem solving.
